I grew up playing baseball. The challenge was to hit a very fast ball coming right at you with less than a second to figure it out. It isn’t easy. Baseball players know that.
I would watch golf on TV and thought: How tough could that be?
One day when I was 18 a mentor of mine and father of sorts took me out golfing. Oh my goodness. Hank sums it up well.
“It took me seventeen years to get three thousand hits in baseball. I did it in one afternoon on the golf course.”
