Hank Aaron

Reds’ pitcher Jerry Arrigo ties a major league mark when he hits his third Brave batter in the second inning of a 9-4 victory July 2, 1969.

The Braves also tie the major league mark by getting five batters hit in one game.

Pedro Ramos hit Clete Boyer, Bob Aspromonte and Felix Millan. Gerry Arrigo hit Hank Aaron and Felix Millan.

Felix Millan would go 3 -3 for the evening. Felix was actually hit twice. Once by each pitcher. Felix made his major league debut on June 2, 1966 with the Atlanta Braves, and played for Atlanta until 1973. Millan was primarily a second baseman. He played in two All-Star Games, the first in 1969 and the second in 1971; in 1970 he was named an All-Star, but was unable to participate due to injuries.

Hank would go 2 -3.
