It’s opening day the year after the Miracle Braves won the World Series. So, on April 14, 1915, the Phillies beat the Braves 3-0. Dick Rudolph was the losing pitcher for the Braves. George Stallings, coming off the glow of 1914 is managing. The game is played at Fenway Park with 12,000 in attendance. The game started at 1:43.

The Braves start the season 0-1. They had lost opening day in 1914 as well.

No big deal. The Braves would finish 2nd in the National League with a 83-69 record, 7 games behind Philadelphia. The Boston Red Sox would end up beating Philadelphia in the World Series 4-1.
